Poems from D y i n g E u r o p e

“What if from Nomads to star-divers
We become custodians
To repent from centuries of destroying
Would we not then make choices
To recognize that God is dancing

In the universe and we must
Be a gift unto the worlds
Or else in gulps of light, go extinct”

Keep reading to take in this beautiful ode of the Soul!

Namaste,

Poems from D y i n g E u r o p e

What if from Tundra to cities
My people refine themselves
Until we are one finger of

The seventeen hands of the Cosmos
I’m alone on the roof
With an unlimited number of stars
Who look back upon me
With an unlimited number of eyes

We are souls created from
The same music, murmuring
Mantras of evolution

What if from Nomads to star-divers
We become custodians
To repent from centuries of destroying
Would we not then make choices
To recognize that God is dancing

In the universe and we must
Be a gift unto the worlds
Or else in gulps of light, go extinct

Blindly like any species, that failed
To arrive at a sustainable balance
I’m holding a cup of water
To the Milky Way
And she’s burning gold down on me

For I’ve become a connoisseur

For the ones who spill their hearts to the world; the ones who share their souls; the ones who let their spirits dance. Namaste, T.O. … Continue reading Immortality

Wild Hair

Wild hair should be celebrated. I'm exhausted with the suggestions to flatten it or "why don't you do something to it?" Especially from men. As if to say my hair is not good enough. It's much like me, with its own attitude and moods, and it wants to be as free and wild as I want to be. 🍃💜🍃 - T.O

The Artist Knows

By Trina Otero From Lillian Smith’s, The Journey: Art, as is true of all man’s profound experiences, is not for art’s sake, nor for religion’s sake, nor for the sake of beauty nor for any ’cause.’ Art is for man’s sake. The artist creates what he creates for himself as a living part of mankind…because of a … Continue reading The Artist Knows

Of Sea Wind and Waxing Gibbous

By Trina Otero Tonight was my last night to privately lay out on the terrace and look up at the magnificent stars. Charles Virtue arrives tomorrow and he will have the third floor of the house, which includes the wonderful, large terrace. A bright, waxing gibbous moon greeted me when I walked outside onto the … Continue reading Of Sea Wind and Waxing Gibbous
