Well I just started today and I must say in sad bc it hasn’t worked. I even Frank an extra 16ounces to get it going and made the water even hotter this time….nothing. I had the urge but nothing ever happened! I am mixing it with 32 ounces and 2 level tsp of pink himalayan salt I too got from Wal-Mart. Maybe when it does take place I’ll be camping out in my bathroom….😕

Very interesting, this CAN happen. Might mean you’re very backed up. Did you use the right amount of salt? The recipe calls for 1 tbs I believe. Please also refer to the site I referenced (yogitrition) because she does touch on this topic. I hope you can flush out!

My experience: the salt water was not horrible (not great) but after 24 of the 32 ounces were drunk, I just wanted plain water. I drank the 32 ounces of salt water in 30 minutes. I won’t lie, there was one second where I thought about vomiting all the salt water up but I didn’t. I just put the thought out of my head immediately and the urge was gone. My first trip to the bathroom was 35 minutes after my 1st sip of salt water. I couldn’t believe it worked that quickly! I drank another 32 ounces of plain water over the next 1:30. I went to the bathroom a total of 8 times in 2 hours. 2 hours after my 1st sip of salt water and the bowel movements were done. Drinking the salt water was worse than the bathroom trips. It was worth it though! I didn’t think it would happen but my last trip to the bathroom was pretty clear. I paid for colon hydrotherapy once before… Never again. This was way more effective and way cheaper! What else: I have a tendency towards nausea so I wore nausea ‘Sea Bands’ on my wrist the entire time. There was a point about an hour in where I felt if I leaned over, I might loose my balance. (Part of nausea for me.) Also, I just got off a 7 day vegan elimination diet whole food detox. (Basically same guidelines as Daniel’s Fast.) This salt water flush was the perfect ending to the detox on Day 8! From here I had already decided to continue to eat the same kind of diet but add back in wheat, for a 2nd week. Last note: I really enjoyed how light and clear my body felt today. My skin cleared up, my sinuses cleared up and my skin which was ashy dry yesterday was radiant after I took a shower today! At this point I am planning on doing another salt flush in a week. Thank you so much for posting about this Trina!!! I am so glad you are blogging about this and sharing your journey. Namaste

This is great stuff! I don’t think I drank AS much plain water as you did after the salt water, so I’ll have to try that next time. I think I might do this again next Sunday! I do feel lighter, my body is digesting everything I eat SUPER fast 😵 I think I did feel a tiny bit nauseous but it just felt weird. Like alot was going on in the lol! Yay to clean tummies! 🙌 Namaste Jennifer
