Thanksgiving, for the United States, is tomorrow…..and while this MAY be short notice for some…I think these recipes will come in handy for any day, even Christmas. I spoke with a new fantastic friend, Jennifer Perry, who happens to be a food enthusiast and vegetarian like me. Below are her words and the recipes she found and compiled — she will be making all this yummy, drool-worthy food for tomorrow! Make sure you check her Facebook page Creative Soul Arts — she provides insightful oracle card readings via Facebook private message or email. She connects with your angels and guides to provide you with information you need to change your life for the better. She is also a passionate writer like me, and will be creating a blog soon! I hope you support her passions when she gets that up and running! 🙂
“I try very hard to avoid recipes with white sugar in them. Lacuma is an alternative natural sweetener. I sweeten with agave, honey, maple syrup & coconut sugar as well.
Where do I get the recipes? hehe… I get a Penzey’s Spice catalog in the mail that has recipes. I subscribe to Vegetarian Times‘ email and magazine, [and] I bought a Thanksgiving magazine in 2007 by Taste of Home. I also find other recipes on Pinterest, Facebook and from recipe books I check out from the public library.
I have been a foodie for about six years. I was afraid when I went Vegetarian that food would taste boring so I made sure that it didn’t by making recipes from scratch and trying new ones all the time. I am passionate about leaving the Standard American Diet and it will be part of what appears on my blog. I have slowly lost and kept off 70 pounds over six years and it is because I stopped eating garbage. I haven’t eaten fast food in five years and I have been a vegetarian for three years. Just a bit about me and my passions. Like your vlog said, I know and stand in my truth.
…..The fact that American food is laden with chemicals, lower vibrations and all the vital life force is annihilated from it when it is processed, something else very vital is missing from Standard American meals. That is the LOVE that goes into preparing a home-cooked recipe from scratch with healthy, high-vibrating ingredients.” — Jennifer Perry
