In Silence

My Indian brother complained today that he is the “silent type” after I expressed how excited I am to see him [when I visit him next year]. Destiny brought us to reunite in this life – I am so glad to have him as an amazing friend and “brother,” and I know him so well to the point that I have no idea why he is so nervous about his silent nature. In response to his complaint today, this is what I sent him. 🙂 ॐNamasteॐ

“It seems only the old are able to sit next to one another and not say anything and still feel content. The young, brash and impatient, must always break the silence. It is a waste, for silence is pure. Silence is holy. It draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking. This is the great paradox.” – Nicholas Sparks

Disregard the previous “A”. Lolz. But I love this post!!!!! It taught me so much, so fast, and it wasn’t even new knowledge—simply something I’ve known all along just never really paid much attention too. Yups. Silence is beautiful. So thanks for being my reminder love!!!!!

Awww, you’re welcome! And if you open your eyes and ears, you will realize that a lot of things that speak to your heart are just reminders! It’s knowledge you have always known, or learned in the recent past but somehow forgot about. Glad you enjoyed this 🙂
