Good morning to Chicago, with our half awake, puffy faces 😀
I ordered this yummy California Grille Panini, thai soup, and chai at The Corner Cafe [which is attached to Union Station]. If you see a worker named Lamar, tell him Trina says hello! He was a nice guy.
Their chai was pretty decent! I added more honey and cinnamon. Once again, giving Lamar a shoutout!

Mother Earth coexisting with the busy city.
This is a very cool welcome “sign” inside the Willis aka Sears Tower.
So, my sister and I crammed into an elevator to shoot up the 108-story building. This flat screen above our heads showed us how high we were and compared the height to different structures.
I snapped this photo right before we arrived at 1,451 ft. [Or is the Skydeck at 1,353 ft? I think the antennas on top of the tower reach to 1,451 ft.] My ears popped! o.O
The view is S P E C T A C U L A R. In the Skydeck everything below looks so small and insignificant. Like toys that I could bend over and reach for. If only the Skydeck was completely empty of the hundreds of people, I could have had a peaceful moment alone. Still breath-taking!
Here is a view of the city from a different area inside the Skydeck.
Like I said, everything is so miniscule. The view looked like an anthill made of stone, the different colored-cars look like ants.
This was one of my favorite views. The horizon was very inspirational.
This view, looking out into Lake Michigan I believe, reminded me of infinity. I could not distinguish the sky from the water when I searched for the horizon. I stood here for awhile with my thoughts.
New Earth ॐ New Life ॐ New Dreams ॐ New Heights. I stepped out onto the Ledge, the city continued to bustle 1,353 ft. below my boot.
Yes, now that I think about it…we are crazy. But the adrenaline rush was awesome! And yes, I was scared as hell.
Adios, Skydeck. [Ears popped again]
The souvenir shop inside the Tower is a decent size, but of course, us being goofs, we found these sunglasses to be the most amusing. Lol…
Shout out to all the Khans I know ☺ ☮
Yep, we are still alive and kicking — with smiles of course. ☺
Why are people so comfortable with remaining strangers? Nameless? More zombies… -_- my Zombies post here
