Conscious-Rap Artist HUMAN Releases His First Music Video

By Trina Otero

I’m über excited for two reasons – today is Wednesday [my favorite day of the week] AND today the very talented HUMAN, from Indianapolis, Ind., is releasing his very first music video! This is the first time I have talked about any music artist on my blog, so this should show you how excited I am about this. Let’s just say that he is one of the very few rap artists bringing back hope and inspiration to a genre that [I believe] has been corrupted. Don’t get me wrong, when I was in middle and high school, I fell in love with Tupac, Ludacris, Nelly….I could keep going. Back then hip-hop was changing [in my opinion] and becoming a “fad,” and everyone was beginning to love it. Hip-hop was becoming mainstream. But as time went by, I noticed hip-hop started to turn into commercials – the songs had dope beats but the lyrics either glorified commercial products or the street life. Eventually I became disappointed and ventured into many other music genres and left hip-hop alone for the most part.

But I am here to tell you that there is a new generation of music artists with amazing talents and great minds, ready to light up the world with knowledge and inspiration. HUMAN is one of them. I personally know him and he is very intelligent [he is constantly studying something], super funny [we are always cracking jokes back and forth], and extremely humble [this always blows my mind]. So with no further ado, I present to you “Fight” by HUMAN.
